FYI, the Memphis win was without Tarik Black; who had a mild groin injury. DJ Stephens had 14 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Saturday
UCF (140) host either Belmont (16) or Boston U (162)

Belmont leads 40-24 at the half. This is good for UCF's RPI as UCF has currently fallen 11 spots with their win earlier tonight. This would be a nice RPI boost for UCF and CUSA if UCF can get the win Saturday night.

Southern Miss played without leading scorer Dwayne Davis, who was suspended for being 5 minutes late for a film meeting.

RE: Dec 28, 29 and 30 basketball games with RPI
SATURDAY
Tulsa (117) vs Florida St (128) - game played in Sunrise, FL
Rice (318) at Texas (108)
UCF host Belmont (17) - Belmont's RPI fell a few spots as previous opponent had bad RPI

Would be HUGE if Tulsa AND Rice both won today. If I had to chose one to win it would be Rice as that would get all C-USA teams RPI at 275 (or whatever Rice would improve to) or better. Tulsa's RPI won't take a big hit but a win would help as FSU's RPI will improve once they start playing ACC games.

UCF and CUSA needs UCF to get a win here. UCF has current RPI of 152 and a win today should get them in the 130 or so area.
Good luck to all CUSA teams today!

With the Armed Forces Bowl looking like a W, this could be a heck of a day for the Owls.

Granted the competition was tougher but a rough start to the day with Tulsa and Rice losing. UAB is up 10 at the half and Houston just tipped off so hopefully CUSA can get back even on the day

Houston has won and ECU is up 5 just before the half. Turning out to be a decent day. Assuming ECU goes on to win, it would be up to UCF to determine if today was a success or not IMO
