I'm not as worried about our WRs next year. I don't view KT as a big loss. Chisum needs to really step up. Like what I've seen from Chris Moore. Looking forward seeing young guys like Nate Cole, Braxton Lane and Jeremy Graves. Also really like Alonzo's potential but not sure how ready he'll be next year.
At TE, Annen really needs to step up but I think DJ Dowdy will be our next star at TE.
Don't want o be tooo harsh. But losing KT is a major plus for the WR's
on this team. How many times this year has the ball hit KT in the hands?
I know i'm exadurating, but I can't remember 1 good catch he's made this year. Seems like every ball thown bounces off his hands. He NEVER
adjusts to the ball. I'm glad to see him gone.
1) KT, unfortunately, did not meet or exceed the lofty expectations that arrived with him on campus. Hopefully, he'll be able to impress scouts with his size/speed in order to get a look at the next level.
2) Just because you preface a statement by saying "i don't want to be X" doesn't give you license to be X afterwards. it's disingenuous. By way of example, i don't want to be a d!ck, but you are clearly retarded and don't know what the word "harsh" means and were either too lazy and/or stupid to look it up in a dictionary or online to find out, because everything you wrote was pretty effing harsh, retard.
wow...really?!?! Speaking of harsh...wow.
And for the record, and back on point, I agree, KT was not a big loss...he dropped a ton of catches and generally under achieved vs his expectations.

RE: First Look at 2013
Excellent post by the OP. After watching KT drop a couple of key throws in the Belk Bowl, I won't miss him. Chris Moore again came up big on the TD catch and I look forward to seeing him next year and beyond.
Watching The TT offense coached by Coach Tuberville, I think Kay can be effective running the offense Tuberville will put in. Emphasizes passing over running. However, Kay runs extremely well when needed, and Tuberville has compared him to Klein of KSU.
I would expect either Norvell or Coney to be given a good shot in the Spring, but I think Tuberville would want to win big right away and stick with Brendan. The JUCO's are the key to the defense which emphasizes my last point.

I think Kay has done enough to be named the 2013 starter without an open competition. I think the only reason he won't be given that honor is because a new staff is going to want to give everyone a look but I'm sure it won't take Kay long to earn the job.

RE: First Look at 2013
You know what's funny? Vol fans saying how much they like our quarterback and not having a damn clue what it took before the putz finally caved and put him in.
There was a long thread on the Vol board (40+ pages, but don't bother going though the last dozen pages because it divulges into a pointless recruiting debate).
At the other end of the spectrum, Tech fans are still butt-hurt.
I'd be interested in seeing the rating for our game. Between several fan bases having interest in it and it turning out to be an entertaining game, I'd hope it did pretty well.

Found this article:
"Earlier Thursday, the Cincinnati/Duke Belk Bowl earned 3.9 million viewers — up 12% from North Carolina State/Louisville last year (3.5M), and up 33% from South Florida/Clemson in 2010 (2.9M).
The game ranks as the most-viewed edition of the bowl (previously the Meineke Car Care Bowl) since Pittsburgh/North Carolina in 2009 (6.1M), and the second-most viewed game of the 2012-13 bowl season."

"But, but, but...... Cinnci* does not move the needle".
