That coach has to give his team a chance. That was a dick move on his part. I feel bad for those players.

Dumbest coaching call of the year. At least we can see why he's not a head coach on a permanent basis

Ridiculous.

I did not mind the call to go for it on 4th down, but wasting that timeout after the 3rd down play meant that was the ballgame. Bad game management by WKU

Think he call his guys over and asked what they wanted to due, seems they said to go for it.. At lease that's what I think he asked..

Yeah I heard that as well.

Problem with that is they are not paid to make those calls. He should have kicked the field goal and given his team a better chance in OT. Both defenses were making big plays all night. Kick the damn ball.

The field goal was by no means a gimme. Jakes should have gone to Henry for first down.

You would have to watched us for last 2 years to know we miss the field goal from there.

I can see not kicking it...Western's kicking game is awful. What I dont understand is why run the clock all the way down before taking timeouit, and why on earth would you not have Antonio Andrews at least involved in the play?

Our FG % the last 2 years is around 40%....his max range is 40 yards....I say he had about 40% shot of making it.

North Texas would have sent it up the gut.... 4 times in a row.

Guidry will probably lose his HC job over that call...
Of course he showed up for the game unlike the new guy....

Yeah, weather or not, if I was a WKU fan I would be fuming Petrino didnt show up. I can pretty much guarantee you our coach will be with us the entire week we are in Mobile.
