I am planning on setting up a meeting with EA Tiburon, the branch of EA that designs the NCAA Football series, in order to address a couple of design elements related to the game related to UCF that I think should be altered, changed, or added to the game in upcoming editions of the series.

I wanted to see if anyone here could think of anything related to UCF that should be added to the game. I'm looking more along the lines of details that will enhance realism of the team and stadium, not anything that would affect gameplay (e.g. giving Storm 99 juking or something). For example, I've noticed that the visitor section at BHNS is in the wrong place (it should be a few sections to the right if looking from the student section). Or they need to change our logo our old primary logo from 2007 to the new one Todd Stansbury promoted to primary logo this September.

So if you have any ideas along those lines, please feel free to add them here. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.

The knight on the 50 yd line as pregame ritual. I mean the actual golden knight that rides around.

Well this isn't UCF specific, but if they want to sell me NCAA 14, they had better put the new playoff format that starts after the 2014 season in the game or at least have it as an option. Otherwise, I'm not buying it.

As far as UCF-specific stuff, could they have the marching band spell out UCF as part of the pregame? Or have The Chant be something else the band plays besides the fight song?

The addition of the Chant while showing the crowd waving their arms and clapping would be awesome.

Kickoffs!

On kickoffs, the stadium yells out, immediately after the kick is made: U-C-F. KNIGHTS!

That is a subtle...but really necessary stadium sound addition! It happens every kickoff without fail.

Crowd wears mostly black instead of gold.

Also as a general comment, if they don't have the new playoff available for this year's version, (and I know the full set of rules isn't out yet, but it will be by summer) I would think nobody will want to buy or at least nobody will want to keep this game at all. They should also allow custom conferences to choose ALL their bowls, not just the BCS bowls.

The field paint (e.g. endzone letters) now has black outlines. I don't believe that's in the game this year is it?

No, the outlines aren't in 13. And I'm surprised that someone else picked up on the fact that there were outlines on the field - I thought I was the only one who noticed it.

But I can understand why the outlines aren't in 13: because the outlines were pretty much a secret up until opening day, EA didn't have time to implement the change into the code for BHNS. But I'm definitely going to let them know about it; thanks for the input!

Over the past several years I sent multiple emails to the person in charge of field maintenance telling him the lettering on the field logos needed black outlines so they stand out better on TV coverage. Yellow/white paint on green grass was a horrible combination, so I was stunned to see them finally do it this past season. So I guess you can thank me (and probably others who complained) that they finally cleaned them up a bit. Now it's gonna take years to see that work its way into the video games I suppose.
