We're not exactly selling tickets at a great clip ourselves. About 4,000 sold. We have a lot of fans who decided against going to the same place 2 years in a row.
Must be nice when the bowl about an hour away will pick you up without worry.

Get it right....an hour and a half away.
Unless you're talking about that game for another Sunbelt school that was about two hours away.

That's a good chunk of tickets ULM! You'll have a bunch of last minute walk-ups, so that will translate into a good crowd.

An hour if you drive fast enough. Then again, there are a gazillion small towns up there with their own ticket happy police force...so I guess an hour and a half is right.

That's not bad. Tech had 12,000 they sold last time they were in the Indy Bowl and I think we'll too that.

I believe we finished around the 25,000 mark. The attendance was 48,800. ECU brought at the most 3,000 fans. So we had a huge walk up crowd. Most folks don't care about buying tickets through the university. The university did't make it easy to buy your tickets through them. You had to call it in if you were from out of town. Long story short, I hope you guys put at least 30,000 actual fans in the Indy Bowl and deliver a beat down to Ohio.

The university made it as easy as possible considering ticket restrictions like donors, season ticket holders, player families, school staff and last those who only wanted to support the bowl game. You cannot expect to pick your seats.
