What about this for conference:
I posted this in the main board...wanted to get bearcat brethren thoughts:

I think UC, UCONN, Temple, and Memphis should all be fb only in the MWC and all other sports with the C7. That gives us a best of the rest football home and keeps our hoops EAST with Gtown, Nova, etc.

other than an ACC invite, this is the best scenario for UC, UCONN, Memphis, and Temple (add Butler or Creighton hoops)

It would look like this:
Hoops:
Gtown
Nova
St. Johns
Providence
S.Hall
Marquette
Depaul
Temple
UCONN
Memphis
Cincy
Creighton/Butler

Thats a great bball conference and allows us to keep recruiting in NY where Mick recruits.

Football
UNLV
Boise
SDSU
Col St
New Mex
Nevada
BYU
Fresno St
UC
UCONN
Memphis
Temple

Not awesome football but we wouldn't be bad...esp if Boise, UC, BYU are in the Top 20

It's not bad but honestly I refrain from even coming up with these scenarios because it probably wont happen this way. Just wait it out and hopefully we have a soft landing. Don't text and drive.
