TOGC is an idiot but Memphis is pretty elite. There is a short list of teams that can average near 18K a game.

Do you actually wish to debate the point he was making? This stuff simply wastes bandwidth.

I wouldn't call Memphis and elite program....that would be like, Duke, UNC, KU, UCLA etc.

Memphis is a very very good, storied basketball program and I put them in there with UofL, UC, Zona, UCONN, Gtown, etc etc etc.

Oh yeah? Well Cincy draws at least half as much! So there!

Man, I really miss huggy bear and his Cincy teams coming into Memphis. Some great games played in front of wild, loud, and always sell-out crowds. Huggy labled Memphis fans as the most obnoxious fans in America, and we ate it up. I'm glad Memphis and Cincy are getting back together again, but it just won't be the same without ole huggy bear roaming the Cincy sideline.

Charlotte fans gave you guys a run for your money. Those fans really, really hated Huggy.

Like it or not that's likely very similar to what ECU, Temple, USF, UCF and Memphis will eventually be stuck with. I personally don't have much of an issue with it. It's a lot like CUSA 1.0.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have Cincy, UConn & an all sports western wing but if it comes to this "Genius" conference it could have easily been worse looking at CUSA v3.4564.

The Blue and Red divisions are unbalanced IMO (in favor of the Red division).

Not really as tough, you must not be old enough to remimber the Yates years before huggy. Cincy was the absolute worst team in the metro. Huggy made one of the fastest program turnarounds i remimber.

Someone finally gets it. This is actually a pretty good and realistic conference. I would get used to those schools if I were any of you.
