Coach Heath was disgusted at the first half, in which UA shot 34% and only led 27-24 at halftime. The HOGS came out on fire in the second half, shooting 70% from the field to eventually pull away from a pesky Gardner-Webb team who smoked East Carolina by 30 a few nights before.

Eric Ferguson led UA with 16 points, Ronnie Brewer had 12 and freshman Darien Townes had 10.

The Razorbacks are 4-0 and will host Tulsa next Tuesday before going to Little Rock to face #5 Illinois.
