Tech has never had 25k for a home game and never sold 20k for a bowl.

If that's the case, and they're in Ruston, Louisiana then why in the hell did they get a C-USA invite?
Shoot they couldn't even beat ETSU when he had football. Terry Bradshaw still calls it the worst physical beating he ever took.

Tech has NEVER filled their 30,000 seat stadium in Ruston and that is including against Mississippi St., so what makes you think they would fill the Super Dome? Tech's only chance at filling a stadium would have been to take a beating from ULM in the Indy Bowl.

The thought would be if the Cajuns put 40K in the dome, that certainly La. Tech could put between 24-30K and get it full for a bowl game against an instate team.
Again, if it's that bad, then how did they get the invite?

I don't think they brought that many to the Independence Bowl.

My guess is that in 1990, LATech put about 25,000 in the Indy Bowl and not anything close to that the years following.
