No, it just isn't what it was.

RE: "State of this Board"
This discussion needs an enema. A number of respected teams lost tonight to teams that should have been pushovers. The Tigers didn't. A lousy game overall. The Tigers as a team missed more free throws than they made, they didn't protect each possession like they should, they let the opponents score too easily in the paint, and they didn't control the pace of the game. And the Tigers still managed to win with a very sub par effort. In March we won't remember this game because they won. Many wanted a 40 point margin of victory to make themselves feel better about the loss to Louisville. In the past teams under Kirk, Finch, Calipari and now Pastner that have had great talent have had the penchant of playing down to the competition at times and have squeaked by just as we did tonight. Could have been one of those games we lost. Just glad it wasn't.

RE: "State of this Board"
I'd be more concerned about the state of the fan base. There Are those who don't care regardless. The result. Those that don't care for our current coach. And then those who are starting to just not care about anything.
What we should worry about is the state of those that pay the bills.
Change is always good. Provided it has a positive result. We better have a better plan in place than when cal left because we have a great recruiter now. How much more time do we give him to become a great coach?

Did all these people forget how well we played on Saturday, or are they just incapable of understanding anything other than the final score.
I used to think we had an intelligent fan base, but I think the bandwagoners have overtaken the reasonable ones

RE: "State of this Board"
I think there are some "bandwagoners" ...but I've purchsed season tickets since I moved to Memphis in 2007...I played at Indiana State....I just don't see the use of driving all the way back downtown for team that doesn't play hard....and everybody needs to know that THIS TEAM DOESN'T PLAY HARD....and they don't play TOGETHER ON DEFENSE...I'm sure the coach see this....
Memphis has an amazing thing here that touches the morale of the whole city....But I percieve that CJP is searching right now and it shows....From experience, It takes more to win at D1 than energy....it takes organization and the team doesn't look organized espeically on D...

WE LOST!!!! Just like every other time Josh has played a ranked team, WE LOST!!! Time's up on the "we played good but just fell short" excuses. BEAT SOMEONE OR GET THE HELL OUT SO WE CAN FIND A COACH WHO CAN BEAT SOMEONE.

Pastner's tenure at Memphis won't end well. Dude is clueless. Quote me on that.
Thank you kindly.
