I'm stuck in EL right now working my part-time min. wage job. All alone. I hear the world is supposed to end in the morning is that correct? If so I hope I can just sleep right through it! Enjoying my last moments tonight with some hookah and a vodka on the rocks.

Before we get all hysterical, let's put ourselves in the Mayan's place.

If you were writing a calendar, would you just keep on adding and adding and adding days, or at some point would you go, "What the hell, I think we've extended this calendar far enough, let's let some other sucker finish it."

They never predicted the end of the world, they just stopped writing their calendar. Who can blame them. Talk about a tedious boring job.

I was just able to confirm that the world will be ending at 12:11pm tomorrow. I'm concerned that I wont be able to sleep in that long. ****. I gotta find something awesome to be doing at that time.
