Interesting. All good QBs. But, I don't think any team would trade their QB for another team's QB. At least I know we wouldn't at UL. Good luck to everyone in their respective bowls.

I think some WKU fans would trade Kawaun Jakes for a bag of footballs...

and I'd say they'd be getting a pretty sweet deal.

I wouldn't trade, but be honest, Cajun fans wouldn't trade Broadway for Browning? Really? By the way I'm in Lafayette at the Hilton Garden Inn across from the Cajun Dome for a CLE ourselves tomorrow.

Kawaun Jakes is garbage.

I can not wait to be rid of him after this year.

No disrespect to Browning, he is a stud. But Broadway is just as capable. A lot of people don't realize that he didn't start until the 6th game of the season against North Texas, he played the majority of the previous game when Gautier (last year's NOLA bowl MVP) broke his hand and was basically lost for the season.

So Broadway put up one hell of a damn season only playing in 8 games. The dude's a Soph. and his ceiling is much higher than Browning's in my honest opinion.

correction, his first start was week 5 against Tulane. It was the week before that he broke his hand against FIU. I would agree too, I'm not gonna argue who is better, but I'm gonna say that I have every bit of confidence that Broadway can lead us to a conference championship before he graduates. Browning is an amazing QB himself and any team would be happy to have him.

That is correct. NO we wouldn't.. Love the kid(Browning), but Broadway has just as many tools.. Once he got his feet under him he was unstoppable.

We had a QB who was very much like him a few years ago.

Michael Desormeaux.

He made things happen with his hands as much as his feet.

He had the biggest heart on the team.

He played through injury.

Guys like these are very rare.

That was Blaine Gautier not Broadway who broke his hand vs FIU. Probably what you meant, but I wanted to make sure that was clear. Still his first start was against TooLame, and he ended up with the best qb rating in conference play.

Garbage? Maybe not the best QB but his play over the last 18 games is anything but garbage. The only loss during that 18 game span that I can put on Jakes would be the FAU game.

I would take any of the other QB's over Jakes. I am hoping Jakes makes a better basketball guard than QB. I will be cheering my ass off for him in Detroit though, because he has earned it for sticking it out and making the most of his abilities.

RE: Ranking the 70 Bowl Quarterbacks
Just curious if anyone actually looked at the rankings? Kevin Hogan of Stanford at 19. Look at the guy's stats, 900+ yards passing and 200+ rushing ahead of Browning or Aplin. 01-wingedeagle Oh yea I forgot if you play for a BCS team especially Pac 12 it makes you a superior player automatically. Subjective rankings are so biased they are always slanted towards the so called power 6 leagues, it's a joke to me. 03-lmfao
