You Be The Judge
I have chosen what most would say is a very generous grading scale. One could apply this scale academically or athletically. If this scale had been implemented when I was at CMU, I would have been considered a Rhodes Scholar. But, since it wasn't (it was much more rigid-unlike the girls at CMU), I thought it would be fun to direct said scale athletically. Our CHImPS finished its third season under Dr. Anus, er, Enos. His first season was 3-9. His second season was 3-9. His third season was 6-6 (admittedly against horribly weak competition). Please feel free to place Dr. Enos at the corresponding or appropriate level on the grading scale below for each season.
Significantly exceeds expectations 83-100
Exceeds expectations 73-82.9
Meets expectations 63-72.9
Meets few expectations 53-62.9
Fails to meet expectations 0-52.9
This is why I believe we don't deserve to be in ANY bowl game, and I don't give a flying pfhuck what the NCAA has to say about bowl eligibility. At a minimum, you have to be at the "exceeds expectations" level to graduate from CMU. Why shouldn't the same standard be applied to the spartan from East Landfill?!
