I will be in the Big Easy. A little Beach Boys and Bad Company Friday afternoon/night alot of food and drink that night. Then a big NOLA breakfast to prep me for gameday. Take out the Cajuns and send the Waterboy back home with a big fat L.

Reports are that the Ragin' Cagins gave sold about 14,000 tickets; any word on how many ECU has sold? I can't make it but bought some tickets for the troops - I hope that counts toward our allotment.

We are closing in on 20,000 (over 18,000 confirmed sold with the ticket office still handling mail in and walk up lines at the Cajun Dome). We will probably sell out our bowl allotment and supplemental allotment.

Bowl tickets on StubHub were selling for $50 from what I saw this morning. Just for comparison, Independance Bowl tickets on StubHub are selling for $18 and now I have heard that the Orange bowl has $5 tickets.

Hope you guys can muster 5,000 for the game. I still remember you guys coming to Lafayette for the Baseball regional in 2000 and we met with and cooked for some of them. Had a great time and look forward December 22.

Just extracted off Stub Hub. We are more in line with ticket prices to the Sugar Bowl. This is cool.

That was a great crowd at the SuperDome. Sorry the Pirates didn't prevail. Very entertaining game, just the same.

Merry Christmas, Pirate Nation...
