@TheBlazerman: There's a Chick Fil A on the corner of 5th Avenue North between 19th and 20th, not very far away from this development, but having one closer to the place would be nice. The one up on the hill at 5 Points may not be too pleased, though.

Supposedly D&B is looking at a Birmingham location, but I wouldn't expect it downtown. Probably a 280 kind of place.

I saw on the Dave & Buster's website, they are opening a facility in Boise, ID, surely Birmingham, AL can get one. There facilities range from 40,000 to 70,000sf. That Merita Bread property down by Railroad park should be coming on the market soon.

There's actually plans for there to be an ice cream shop built into the Baron's stadium. It will face RR Park and be open when games aren't going on and will also be accessible during games from inside the stadium.

What are the "hot names" in ice cream purveyors in today's market. I noticed that the Bruster's on 280 is now a Krispy Kreme shop.
