Folks are so caught up in the BE drama that they are missing what may be the end result. When the B1G decides to expand to the South taking 2 ACC teams there will be a feeding frenzy. The SEC will then take 2 ACC teams, and the Big 12 as many as 4. That will leave the ACC with 4-6 teams - they will have to expand. The only place to get teams will be the BE. The BE is gonna just try to hold on until then. It could very well be that the other Power of 5 will then re-evaluate the ACC 's AQ-worthiness and deem it lacking. So, the AQ conference pie may have 1 fewer slice as the ACC becomes the Big East which became CUSA...

All of this talk of any non-AQ league that includes UConn and Cincy is at best short-term - they'll be gone by the time the BE or any remnant league even begins.

Of course, if UConn and Cincy move to the ACC before all o this and the ACC teams sign Grants of Rights agreements. Things slow down to a crawl.
