Cool.
I can be @ the Dallas Airport by 5 today. Will that work for you?

RE: Can we kick out all our new invitees
Just FYI... UNT has a alumni member on the Texas Higher Ed board.. kicking them out effective cuts the throats of the rest of the Texas CUSA schools as far as long term fiscal projects go..
The Vice Chair of the Tenseness Ed board is out of the Murfreesboro district. Not sure about FL...
Lets just say that there will be a ton of politics going on before anyone kicks anyone out.. would get real ugly real fast.

we'll be fine. we' re getting good kids, have a great coaching staff, a new on campus stadium, and a campus full of excited folks.
CUSA has much bigger problems than Charlotte football.

Not really. Football is the problem.

Those 8 newBE (Temple, Cincy, UConn, Memphis, ECU, Tulane, UCF, and USF ) that will be left will likely pluck some of the bigger named schools left in CUSA - USM, Marshall, Tulsa, UTEP or Rice or LaTech.
What's left of CUSA will simply finish destroying the SBC as an effective FBS conference (welcome ASU, WKU, ULL, +1).
Boom, we're all in Sunbelt version 2.0.
On the bright side for MT, we trade some of the Sunbelt riff raff for ODU, Charlotte and whomever else is left. I'm good with that.
There are a lot of options for everyone to have an appropriate conference home. I haven't lost any sleep through all of the "sky is falling" discussions.

Based on some pics I've seen, Charlotte had as many people for our scrimmages this Fall as UAB does at home games and we won as many games as SoMiss. Seems that our football fits in :-)

The F_Us are the ones that are screwed. The nBE might invite most of CUSA east but USF and UCF are not going to let them in.

This CUSA league as it is now could probably even come up with another Northern Illinois BCS-buster just as quickly as any other non AQ consortium (if I can still use the term non-AQ); albeit, I realize that the Big Boys will be picking one school out of all of us to play in one of the Big Bowls with whatever rules they choose to use at the moment.
Hell, why should we (including yours truly) even get excited because we know all this will change in another 2 or so years anyway and the Big Boys will create brand new rules to pick "the Chosen One" among us all as it is! LMAO!
This YouTube link below even funnier from KTCK 1310 "The Ticket" DFW sports radio station. The 2 making comments on their "emergency brake" (bloopers and blunders) segment are KTCK personalities and Voice of the Mean Green, ie, George Dunham and Junior Miller, his broadcast partner and another Ticket personality (as well as a fellow UNT alum of Dunham's ). FWIW, North Texas alums are predominate in the North Texas TV and radio market. Voice of the Texas Longhorns is UNT grad Craig Way and I believe the Voice of the SMU Mustangs is even a UNT alum last time I checked and I won't list all the others because I have to split for now.

I like to see ECU come back. After they left I was feeling like we were on the Island of Misfit Toys.
