Strange. Last week I listened to Live At Carnegie Hall and Dave Brubeck died a few days later.

he also played at the Monterrey pop festival (I'm sure you've seen that performance - amazing) and taught george harrison the sitar.

Yeah, I knew all about Ravi, and the Beatles. It was just a few years ago, that I learned that he was Norah Jones Father. I remember him being on Dick Cavett, and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Monterrey Pop, not that was a show. In one of my favorite areas of the country. I wish I could have made that shindig.

Monterey Pop would have been awesome! Amazing the constrast between that scene and Woodstock two years later.
