To trash VCU's move would be acting like the JMU fans that trash our move. I certainly hope VCU gets positioned in the strongest possible position. That annual OOC game can only help our RPI.

I hope not. They are still competition on the recruiting trail for us, and we sure as hell do not need them on our schedule for RPI (not that it even matters this year).

I'd hope they end up in the worse conference that ever existed.

And to hell with JMU too. Neither school will help the success of ODU and are if anything, competition. I'd like to see both as weak as possible, and struggle immensely for the extended future.

Forget the A-10 and hoops--what happens when schools like Houston balk at the new BE TV contract--reports are that if these schools leave it could be in the neighborhood of $40 million--they were expecting $100 million before all this went down a few weeks ago.

It seems to me, unless I'm missing something, that there's going to be a mashup of BE-CUSA football (and all sports I'd guess, minus the 7 leaving) and I hope that if it turns into one 16 team conference, ODU is in it. Because depending on how many are left after this new East Coast Conference (ECC!!!) or new Big East is formed, the rest will be inviting Ga Southern, App St, and JMU to a new FBS conference, or asking the Sun Belt for an invite.
