Between now and July 1st when some new schools are added, the 7 nonfootball playing schools have the voting power in the Big East, because of the announced defections and the new schools aren't voting members yet. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I don't think the Big East survives. Its lost the BCS autobid (and its $$$'s), its hodge podge of non-football, some all sports, some football only. It takes a graphic to tell people who plays what. And they are getting a lot less money than previous. And its spread out all over the country, so that fans won't travel.
