Just goes to show, If the city wants to keep the Tigers in Memphis, they'll eventually have to pony up for a new stadium.

They want to keep the Falcons, the SEC Championship Game and maybe get another Superbowl.

If we ever win the Big East we might have a chance to play in the new stadium. It will likely host one of the "new BCS" bowl games.

Make it two. The City ofHouston still has a nasty , run down Astrodome sitting right next door to shiny new Reliant Stadium. Just so Bud Adams has to look at it every Sunday on his way from River Oaks to Hobby Airport to jump on his jet to Nashville.

AFC South
Houston 11-1
Tennessee 4-9

Yea, speaking of the 'Dome, I was watching a bit of the UCLA-Texas basketball game played in Houston on Saturday, and after a commercial break, the network panned over to the dome. I did not realize that thing is still around. The "8th Wonder of the World." I was fortunate enough to catch an Astros and Oilers game there one weekend as a kid.

I for sure thought that thing was boom outta here.

And speaking of that, the Texans are too. Very disappointing for such a hyped game tonight.

Do not know which is more asinine the thread or some of the responses. Why in hell is this even on the main forum to begin with? Has nothing to do with the Tigers or can remotely be twisted to compared to anything associated with the Tigers or local situation.

Georgia Dome has a lot of wear and tear.....was down there this summer....it's time...that center stays busy year around...I sure wish AC gets off his and develops hotel and things downtown Memphis....embarrassing and sad....

I guess we need to incorporate a little racing commentary to appease you.
