It's part of the buyout. Like $500,000 plus a home & home series with a specified number of years.

It's a creative way to get a home game from a BCS team.

Or a coach for free when they want to buy out of the buyout.

If we had a contract clause like that, we would have home and homes with Tennessee Tech and Texas Southern

Cue the Jon Soloman atricle about McGee quitting UAB to be the OC at Western Kentucky. 03-nutkick

We might just see one or both of those pop up in the near future. The scenarios might do wonders for our attendance for those games.

Or maybe Missouri?
And then UNC?
And Arkansas in football?

Maybe we could stipulate that we could sell our home and home to the highest bidder.

Then again, we might not.

Only Missouri works in this scenario.

Why would UNC or Arkansas feel like they owed us the time of day?

It's cool if they wanted to, but what possible leverage would we have?

I think he means if Haase or McGee leaves for those schools.

When Roy Williams leaves, there are a lot of people in the Carolina family in line ahead of Haase.

And I think the McGee to Arkansas thing is dead

I don't. We haven't faired well in mentor/friend games.

*See Tulsa and Memphis

It was just Coach McGee's first season. I hope that he has learned much and will change that trend, also keep in mind, please, that both of those schools you mentioned either have or are getting the resources they need to be productive on the field, where UAB Football has to make bricks without straw (for those of you who don't know what the **** I'm talking about, watch the movie, "The 10 Commandments")... Damn good point, though, have to admit. 03-lmfao
