Tuberville contract
Going to be awhile until details come out. They don't even have a memorandum of understanding yet since things moved so quickly. Right now they just have a verbal agreement on years and a general understanding of compensation numbers.

The fact this went down in 75 minutes without an interview or visit tells me the numbers will be large.

I suspect the season ticket sales will increase dramatically, and some or all of what we pay him will be offset.

On a side note, Tuberville's name recognition is at the highest level.

Think even in tosu country that high school coaches or prospects and their parents aren't going to take a phone call from our new coach?

I think season tickets will go up big-time. If only they were headed to the ACC.....Then things would really be looking good.

Hopefully he's given a good amount of $$$ for his staff.

Him not having a contract yet is why no assistants have been hired.

I'm trying to figure out what is taking so long. The recruiting dead period doesnt start for what...6 days? I would think it would be critical to get this done so he can get some staff in here to get a jump start on recruiting.

You can still have contact with recruits during the dead period. You just can't have face to face contact with them or their parents. Phone calls are still permissible.

Is Gran still the only "official" hire at this point?

Thanks. It is a pretty good feeling. I will be happy once that ceremony is over tomorrow. Not looking forward to sitting through that, but I knew mom wanted to see me walk.
