It was a sloppy game on both sides. But TU did get the job done.

Are all of TCU's losses to CUSA teams?

They also have lost to Northwestern, 55-31.

Just got back from the game and also watched the TU women defeat Colorado State. Both games were pretty good, but our young mens team is really fun to watch. We have true 4 freshmen that will definitely lead us to the NCAA tournament within a year or two. Rashad Ray, Shaq Harrison, James Woodrard and Deandre Wright are a thing of beauty to watch. Just think, at this time last year they were playing HS ball. Danning Manning is doing a fantastic job in his first year. We'll take some lumps this season from time to time, but it will be fun to watch. I've already forgotten the name of our coach last year - Dick Witchet or something. Just kidding.

You've also apparently forgotten the name of your current coach.

I've missed Tulsa style basketball so much. Love these freshmen.

Quite frankly y'all are lucky to have won this game.

Also TCU does not seem to be that good of a team (I've watched them a few times thus far this season)

50-49? 55-31?

Is this MBB or WBB?

Yes, I was there.

This would have been an 8 pt loss under Wojcik.

ugly game. TCU is probably going to be the cellar dwellers in the Big 12. Losing Field for the season will really hurt them.

Of the nine players who played for Tulsa yesterday, seven were not on the team last year. Five are true freshmen. I think Danny Manning is doing a good job with an inexperienced (but talented) team.

Tulsa has struggled against the best teams they've played, particularly Wichita State and Stephen F. Austin (a very good team). They'll take their beatings for sure. But unlike some of Wojcik's teams, they will improve a great deal over the course of the season.
