This isn't a very good WVU team, and they're up 10 on the Herd. Not a particularly good showing for Marshall at this point of the evening.

Marshall certainly isn't looking the part of a top-of-CUSA level team this season. I hope this season doesn't set the program back too much...

Our passing is absolutely awful

Marshall is very susceptible to strong, in-your-face defensive pressure. Man, we miss having a true point guard. This is going to dog this team all season long.

Well, that could have gotten ugly. Here's hoping no Marshall players left the bench there...

Couple technical fouls on Marshall (Goff's was probably deserved...can't speak to that of Spikes). WVU's players, of course, are golden boys and did no wrong. They did eject a few WVU bench kids for leaving the bench.

We'll be lucky if we get through the last 50 seconds of this game without a riot.

Yes. We'll finish somewhere between 9-7 and 11-5 in conference. We'll also finish about 4 or 5 games over OOC. We're still better than decent. We can beat weaker teams. But we are nowhere near the potential bubble team we thought we were.

Yep. The WVU ejections were all black and white...their kids left the bench.

The rest of it (the judgment calls) all went against Marshall except for one (which really came off as throwing a bone to Marshall). The end of this game has bubbled up my anger moreso than any game in a while.

For what it's worth, Goff's part in it all is not my issue. He got his just response. The rest of it just irritates me.

I'm tired of playing big conference teams. The Herd always gets the short end of the stick on officiating in these games.

So, what's the rule on Goff? Is he going to have to sit out another game due to his ejection? Or do we need to wait and see what level of flagrant they hit him with?

Pretty sure he has to sit. We have Coppin St on Saturday, then Cincinnati. He should be back for our next game in Charleston.

He Suh'd the guy. He should have to sit the next game just out of principle.
