Unleash The Dragon: Blazeradio Open Air Discussion - The Future of UAB Athletics
Good evening. I am in the early planning stages of having an on the air discussion at internet radio station Blazeradio ( http://www.blazeradio.org) on the UAB campus sometime in the month of January, I'm entitling it "Unleash The Dragon" (to go along with "tider insider" & "eyes on Auburn")..I have invited the gentlemen who host the radio program, "The Midnight Meltdown" on 97.3 FM The Zone (who have accepted the invitation, by the way) & at least one fellow Blazertalker (who graciously declined, but referred me to a pair of others who might be interested), in addition to the subject matter discussed, intention of taking callers/social media comments and inquiries is going to be a part of the pending project, scheduled for 2-3 hours in duration. I should have more details early next week, I'm sure that most of the dialogue is going to cover the football program and the stadium issue, so your input would be invaluable & most welcomed. I am strongly considering reaching out to the gentlemen of Blazer TV for their involvement as well, being that it will be on the UAB campus, the content won't be as limited or inhibited as it tends to be on the local open-air radio airwaves, in other words, this time, the Blazers have homefield advantage.
What do you think? If successful, perhaps it's something I can push to the Blazeradio Brass to make it a regular show. Or at best, periodic.
