I have to add this for the "totally useless facts and data department" but Denton, Texas, America, is FEMA headquarters for its entire region. The sitting U.S. president assigns who will run each FEMA location, too, for what thats worth (which ain't much of late). (I was a Herman Cain supporter from the git-go for those who may want to suggest something else).

It's easy for FEMA to say this, but under Post-Katrina conditions, most firms and contractors were tied up. USM did what they could to get the University up and running. If they are going to go after USM for that, they need to go after every person that got a FEMA check for housing that spent it on Gucci bags instead.

Coming down on us for making decisions to get things moving after a disaster, and there is an article today about 7.1 million in Department of Homeland Security spending which purchased 98,000 sno cone machines and an undewater robot for Columbus Ohio.
