Who has broken news about the Belt in the past? I've read several "my source is saying" stuff that it's hard to believe any of them. Anyone specific that you trust? Usually conferences will leak some info on purpose, but Benson is very tight lipped which leads me to believe that he isn't 100% sure what the Sunbelt presidents want. Some confrences identify schools and give the commissioner the autonomy to make decisions as needed. Doesn't seem to be the case in the belt.

Just remember that these situations are fluid and can change rapidly.

I wonder if the presidents have not told Benson to hold off on any expansion right now. If the moves happen that are lined up to happen the SBC as a football conference will have no need to exist due to all of us moving conferences. Why add schools now that will just muttle the mess next month. There could be a sense of, "Add App St and they will get the call before my school to the next level conference"

I have a feeling we'll all be in the same conference again real soon. Don't know the name of the conference, but it will be full of familiar faces.

From the Bobcats I trust Brent for recruiting and hes iffy on realignment. He has great contacts but more on the recruiting side. For realignment I tend to trust @WacJack he broke a lot of realignment news for the WAC in the past for the Bobcats and others. Hes been more quiet relating to Sun Belt movement but thats also because Texas St isn't doing much.
