It did in fact fail but you would be naive to say that this idea wasn't groundbreaking. Give it 20 years and this will be the only way we do our newspaper media.

It was naive to think it would be a success when it didn't provide any different news than is provide on other sources for a lower price or free.

Why did anyone need to buy "The Daily?"

I agree. I won't purchase a app to read news. But that is the direction our media is heading. Eventually it will get to that point....or something similar.
