Yeah I saw a link to Bearcat Banter on one of his tweets. So Ono (or the guy that handles his social media) seems to looking at this site.

How about an update from him on the conference outlook for the future what are we doing to make ourselves the most attractive candidate out there. Are we communicating with the Big 12 and ACC on a somewhat regulare basis? We need something more than we are getting...I know any real negotiations wil be behind closed doors but any glimmer of hope wold help in the these darkest days to be a Bearcat. It would be nice if Santa made several trips to places like Dallas, Oklahoma area, as well as North Carolina cities, Atlanta etc selling all about UC like he does in so many places.

Thank you! What a ridiculous post. The conference situation sucks. We get it... but UC itself has never been better in nearly every area.

I have never seen more pride from Bearcats than the past 2 years. Far from dark days.

Well I meant the comment strictly as a conference realignment post...We have never been in a darker period financially as far as what the teams above us are getting. When the difference per year is at least 20 million per year how may years do you think you can compete?

I am not sure how you say better in every area...we have most Olympic sports with losing seasons and can't compete due to lack of funding see UC vs UL now in all sports..
Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball especially have showed the effects. The lack of funding for track with our success is a sin. The Field House condition is unreal and in immediate need of upgrade...

I agree pride at UC has been great the last five years and I hope it continues forever. I give an unreal amount of my income to UC but I need some good news soon to
not be in near panic mode over our situation.

Nippert needs to be underway soon we cannot afford to let the UCF's Houstons SMUS catch up! Even if a spot opens up we are not sure we wold be next in line....USF UCONN and the above all are doing what we are doing or more in facilities.

I appreciate your remarks about the total athletic environment. While we all enjoyed tremendous on field results and renewed fan interest I kept feeling that UC couldn't run fast enough to keep up in the arms race. A solid Big East TV deal would have provided, "the air cover" our ground troops (new fans/donors) needed to play catch up with other BCS schools. Students graduating the past five years will be engaged with UC for a lifetime--in larger numbers than ever before. The problem is, they're young (under 30), early in career, etc. and can't be counted on to provide lots of dollars for gifts or tickets at this lifestage. I'm trusting that the board, president and athletic leadership are still making every effort to position UC for the B12 or ACC. In spite of challenges with facilities, Olympic sports and all; UC has a national brand, big TV market and growing reputation for excellence.
