PS: the AK St fan's really like to run their mouths, and one of them keyed mu truck after we (NIU) beat them last year.
ASU fans are very cordial. We were left with a shell of a coaching staff last year and one healthy WR by the second half but it was a fun time.

Kent St. fans should come visit at Arkst.com. Is this the main Kent St. board?

I like Jonesboro and when I worked at newspapers in Pine Bluff and Little Rock, I made plenty of trips to Red Wolf territory. I can tell you the experiences I had in Arkansas were many and very rewarding during my time there. Can't wait to see some of the fans when they come to the MAAC for the men's bb game on Dec. 22.

Anyone know why the Bowl send-off event is 2 1/2 weeks before the game? They are leaving this week? Seems like a long time to be in Alabama. I figured they would go down to have about 5-6 days in Mobile, max.

My guess and it is just that is that players and coaches are headed home for Christmas. I don't think they go to Alabama until jan 2.

I booked my plane tickets, but are they going to announce a bus trip? I have heard a couple of people wanting to keep things cheap with the bus. I have not seen anything from KSU or Team Cribbs.

I'm waiting for an announcement too! Going on the Cribbs bus is prolly my only option as I definetely cant afford plane/hotel expenses the week after Christmas. I have my fingers crossed- I just got an email that team cribbs is doing a big new years eve bash, so maybe the bowl game announcement is close behind??

I emailed Lisa from TeamCribbs weeks ago, and she had told me that the goal was to leave Saturday morning, stay in Nashville Saturday night, leave Nashville Sunday morning, get to Mobile, go to the game, stay in Mobile Sunday night, then drive straight through on Monday home, for around $300 a person.

But I haven't heard or seen anything since

Wow, 300 is definitely a bargain! I'm hoping they can make this happen!

I don't believe they are chartering any buses afterall. Shame, as it is a good deal and a great way to get some fans there that can't swing more expensive airfare and hotels.

Yeah, I pretty much lost all hope when Cribbs gave the fans the middle finger on his last Tweet. Not hating on him, he had every right- just sad cos I'm pretty sure this incident will assure he won't be in a Browns uni next year ;-(

He was gone anyway. No way they will pay that much (nor should they) for a special teams player. I think the tweet was because he knows he is probably gone. Kick-off returners are going the way of the dinosaurs and Benjamin is a better punt returner. Cribbs is solid but can't break the big one anymore. He is a great defensive special teams player but I doubt he will accept the pay cut to do just that. Right or wrong the Browns are going to blow things up again and I doubt cribbs will a part of the new regime.

Yep, I will hate to see him leave, but I agree with your analysis of the situation. Hopefully he can get picked up by a contender so he will have a chance to be on a winner before he retires.
