I was thinking the same thing; his last post appears to be sometime around 2:51AM on 10/2. Maybe he wagered the parlay to get us in, and now he's wealthier than Doeren...

RE: Where's MD??
MD must be taking the day off. Like General Zukov was awake for over a week during the battle of Stalingrad, MD has been awake
for a similar period of time and must have fallen asleep like Field Marshall Zukov when he received news that the Germans including "Herbstreit's father" had surrended at Starlingradt and likewise when MD heard NIU made the BCS he fell asleep.

In some ways you are right! Complete exhilaration/exhaustion/euphoria like everyone else is feeling. Even though I did nothing, I feel like one of those staffers during an intense political election when it is all over haha. Don't you guys just love the sense of relief that its over and it went our way! I have been on the phone most of the evening sharing the excitement with fellow NIU fans. I never thought I would see this day, and to see Herbstreit throwing a tantrum on national TV was almost worth the price of BCS busting admission lol. I will never ever forget that rant hahahaha. Poor guy! I cannot tell you the pure enjoyment that was for me hah.

It has been an extreme pleasure sharing all this with you guys the past month, I know we have our differences of opinion, but it is great discussion and a great forum to have. I echo the thanks to GTswagger for having this forum.

It just blows my mind beginning on Thanksgiving, just the insane series of events which occurred for this to happen. Im not a statistician, but I would love to see the odds of every event unfolding like it did. It almost feels like lottery odds!

Wolfe, late Monday night I will have the MACC highlights on there.

I apologize for the "BCS conspiracy" rants, I guess I was proven wrong. Long live the BCS computers!

NIU is going to beat the Noles! I feel it!

MD, I think you deserve a lot of apologies from your brothers on this board for the way that they've treated you for bringing up your thoughts on the team with high expectations. I'm happy for the MAC that you guys got in but the individual poster I'm most happy for is you because you've taken such a beating by these guys on this board. Hope you enjoy it all and I'm sure you will!

Thanks Campbell, I am not owed an apology though because I was downright annoying at times. It was just painful to me because in week 10 or so when votes were not coming in, I just thought an opportunity was being taken away from the MAC that is only going to come around once in a great while. I am glad the system worked as it was designed to. NIU has about 15 things to thank for this to happening, but among those things are the fellow MAC schools for pulling off big upsets. NIU would not have gotten an Orange Bowl had Kent not beaten Rutgers and Toledo not beaten Cincinatti. What a historic ground breaking year for the MAC that every school in the conference should be proud of.

MD, tell the truth, did you sh*t your pants when the news broke?

It was such a crazy crazy chain of events. And how about the fact that is wasn't that close! At least with UCLA.

RE: Where's MD??
Well, good to know MD is ok.

The person I am worried about is HuskieJohn. He has not been on since he said he was going to the MACC and taking his son.

I pray nothing is wrong...it is very odd he has not been on the board.

You're right about HuskieJohn. His profile says he hasn't logged on since 11/24/2012 11:06 pm.

Does anybody know him to check?

It was odd, it took a long long time to register haha. That is what schoked me when I saw the 0.32! I guess we have Wolfe23 to thank for his excellent computer ranking system which shot us up so far!

AP reporting HuskieJohn is camped out on Herbie's lawn at his Nashville estate waiting for him!

Actually you are right! I hope he is ok!

Didn't Huskie John just move? Does anyone know where he's at?
Could he be in line waiting for Orange Bowl tickets?

I remember they were building a house...can't imagine him not finding ANY time to check in even for a minute since all that has happened over the weekend.
