Well said.

Herbstreet quotes Big Ben and Miami.
"Well Mr. that team should have gone BCS Bowling but got screwed like 5 other MAC teams that year. THey played a pathetic unranked AQ team despite being ranked #10!! Why wereyou not moaning then????

This one is for you Big Ben and the 75 other MAC NFL players.
This is the first of two successive years the MAC is going to the BCS.
We have two top 25 BCS ranked teams in this conference.
Next year we have a shot at the Heisman. Something Big Ben was denied.

Last year the MAC tied for most conference wins. This year we will win the trophy again.

RE: MAC Bowl Matchups
Unprecedented MAC Bowl Season. BOL to the Huskies, you guys are truly champs and Jordan Lynch is better than the real deal! That's one dangerous team and they manhandled our line on both sides of the ball. Just wish you guys weren't in the same position that we are, losing our coach! Understand the money and greener pastures thing but hope we can capitalize on our current success.

Now let's get 7 MAC victories.....

GL and I hope you guys absolutely shred the Seminoles!

RE: MAC Bowl Matchups
Looking at this it seems Kent State was passed over for the Pizza Bowl? I'm surprised they are go daddy bound. Even after that Toledo is going to Idaho, and also not in the Pizza Bowl.

Even in years when the Pizza Bowl is supposed to take the MAC champion or the best available team they are getting secondary teams. This bowl is becoming less prestigious every year and becoming nothing but an afterthought.

The MAC got some good matchups here. Gotta be expensive to go from Toledo to Boise, but I hope a lot of Rockets fans make the trip. They will not be disappointed. Plus, it's a great matchup. Kent State will have fun in Mobile, too. I look for a big win from the Flashes.

Here's a couple of fun facts:

In 2002, the Huskies came to Oxford and beat Big Ben.

In 2003, the year that Herbstreet says the MAC really should have sent a team to a BCS bowl game, Miami started their season with a 21-3 loss to none other than Iowa.
