I remember back in Jan 2010 USA and Troy athletic departments teamed up to give USA students discounted tickets for the GMAC Bowl.

It's really nice seeing USA students/alumni come out to support their fellow SBC schools. Mobile is a great town for a bowl game. Residents love them some football and will show up for almost any game.

There were a lot of neutral fans when we played there in 2010; Mobile definitely supports their game better than New Orleans does.

Technically y'all played there in 2011.

I've been to both bowls and I prefer Mobile for festivities and the fan support. New Orleans has great restaurants and bars, but the festivities leading up to the game are pretty boring. I really like the Super Dome because it was freakin' cold at Ladd-Pebbles.

As you pointed out, I mistakenly put 2010 instead of 2011; I tried to make a joke, but evidently failed...we went 2-10 in our 2011 season

No problem, I'm assuming all of the times are eastern though (I didn't make this).

Out of the 4 bowl games the SBC will have home field advantage in two of them.

Shreveport, Louisiana- ULM vs. Ohio
New Orleans, Louisiana- UL vs. ECU

I guess you could say Arkansas State vs. Kent State in Mobile is kinda a home field advantage. I'm sure many SBC fans (USA and Troy mainly) will be at the game rooting for Arkansas State. Also a lot of Mobile residents will be there and I'm sure they'd root for a southern team over a northern team any day.

Which game will generate the most attendance?

I'd have to go with the New Orleans bowl. ULM will bring a great crowd, but I think their opponent makes the biggest difference.

Pretty much SBC vs MAC
