I'm thrilled for NIU as they are a home state school as well as a fellow "non AQ". Plus as a longtime hater of the BCS it brings me great pleasure to see NIU get in with a loss as well. I've hated the BCS since the Tostitos dork tried to shove a bag of Tostitos in Phil Fulmers face. I've hated the BCS longer and harder than anyone on Earth. NIU going gives me nothing but happiness and I look forward to that game far more than any other bowl game.

Hey lets be fair. You know that as much as MAC fans go around mocking Marshal that essentially the same minority of Marshal fans are doing the same about the MAC. The two groups both like to attack each other here.

So you would think that after a decade that the Marshal fans would be past it.

Besides we would also be looked at as the "wronged" party in this situation and the tendency is that the "wronged" party tends to remember it longer fo rwhat it is worth.

Fair enough. My "pitiful" comment was directed at those who are still moaning over Marshall. I should of been more clear as I seem from replies that it obviously want clearly stated.

My sister graduated from NIU and I have been on their campus so I would have to say GO Huskies and Go Pirates!!!
