We need more attempts by Adonis. Throw it down, big fella.
Agreed. All one has to do is look at his shot, and you'll know his potential, even from 3. He has a great looking shot and it's not like he's hitting the side of the backboard on his 3's.

I guess i have no choice but to concede that there is NO WAY Adonis' average for the rest of the season is anywhere close to his average for last season, right?
You fail, or just refuse, to acknowledge that last year, AT had ONE good shooting game last year. He went 5-6 from three.
He went 10-31 the other 18 games.
This year through 6 games, he is 2-18.
Yet, you roll your eyes in sarcasm that I don't "see" in AT's past performace that he will be able to shoot 24-60 the rest of the way out when he is 17-55 in his career, went 5-20 (after his 5 for 6 game) last year and 2-18 this year.
OK.

Well, it's not like you have any credibility left to lose, so you might as well keep saying it
I'm curious as to how you would know anything about my credibility. I could be a current NBA player for all you know. I could be Mike Conley or Wayne Ellington. Would you think I could hit 3 out of 18 then?
Not if your user name was still ChrisD.
Chris Duhon would make 2 of 18.

I don't care if I was Mike D from the Beastie Boys, I could make 3 for 18.
Who the hell is ChrisD anyway?

Yeah, you're probably safe. If they banned people just for being full of it, there wouldn't be enough left to carry on a decent conversation.

RE: Ohio Beaten by Robert Morris
I am not going to get in some of these debates about shooting 3's against walk-ons and other crap, however I know OU. I watch them probably about a half dozen times a year. They have a new coach (former Kent State head coach, Jim Christian) and so while I haven't seen them yet this year, they are generally a mentally tough team. If we jump out or get a lead, they are not fazed. OU isn't very disciplined, but they will not be intimidated playing in the FEF. This same team took Louisville to the wire at the KFC joint last year. DJ Cooper is their "name" star player and really is kind of a clone of JJ except for the fact that he shoots a lot of 3's. He will take any shot he sees (good or bad) and will put up numbers (his numbers may not be efficient). The man that makes them go is Walter Offutt. He is an Ohio State transfer and can also get hot quickly. Clark Kellogg's son Nick is also a sniper from deep. I can promise you OU will play with intensity and defensively will frustrate us.
I expect a close game, and quite frankly, if the Tigers prevail this will be a GREAT win.

Question---do you really think they lost to RM just because they were focusing on Memphis? As was mentioned earlier
I think that is somewhat of a preposterous excuse, but wanted your opinion.

No, just likely a few people with multiple user names who like to agitate and irritate for some reason. As long as they stay within the AUP confides as interpreted by the Mods there is little that can be done other than ignoring them.

What's embarrassing is you trying to say 18 3 point attempts isn't a big enough of a sample size to tell you anything.
YOU GIVE ME 18 ATTEMPTS AND I WILL KNOCK DOWN AT LEAST 7.....FACT.

Ohio fan here. First of all dannyb's assessment is pretty spot on. Seeing him on the kent board, he definetly knows the Bobcats. Cooper is 10x better when he focuses on distributing. He is the all time leader in assists, steals and (as Danny mentioned) 3 point attempts. Although, he has improved on that so far this year. Walt Offutt USA do it all kind of guy, and Nick Kellogg is one of my favorite Bobcats of all time.
As for the RMU game, they have now won 4 straight years against us (2 in Athens) and we were favored in all 4. So, I would definitely say they were not looking past Bobby Mo. There are two reasons we lost, we started slow, and they caught fire. In the first 7 minutes we were down 19 after their team hit about 7 straight threes. We cut it to 6 at half, but every time we got it to 3 or 4 their SF would hit a three, including a falling out of bounds shot clock expiring hand in his face 3 with a minute and a half left. Their SF is the one who shot 10-10 and 8-8 from three despite coming in shooting 38% from the field. I'd say only one was an open look. He was amazing.
Looking forward to Wednesday now that I've made it to Memphis. So far all the Tiger fans I've met have been very nice. Good luck (but not too much)

No. OU loses several games every year that quite frankly they shouldn't. They haven't won a MAC regular season title in over a decade, but always are a tough out in the MAC tournament.
