Didn't UCONN put the woodshed to this Toledo team last year basically at their home?

CUSA not looking too impressive so far. A bad USM team struggled to win versus a really bad Ark St. team. UTEP became late season El Foldo.

BTW, how many people in the stands tonight in Mobile--What was the estimated real attendance?

Having alot of free time on your hands during Bowl Season Husky? What, nobody to root for? Looks like you are in charge of the C-USA Bowl games for the BE board. :withstupid:

CUSA has 6 bowl bids and is currently 1-1.

*Really* crashing.

Toledo destroyed UTEP.

If 1 game decides things, then I suppose the Ivy League is stronger than the Big East in hoops since Bucknell beat Syracuse last year?

Bucknell isn't in the Ivy League and yes, they would destroy UCF

Sure we can, Pitt can deal with it.

Besides they are getting stronger as well as the league as a whole.

League basement dweller Syracuse hasn't lost to a MAC team in over 30 years.

UCF is my first choice: Memphis/ECU second choice But each bring something to the table. 04-rock

Haha. Just bored so I watched the games a little. This is almost the same Toledo team that played UCONN except they could not do anything against UCONN. Anyway, losing to the MAC is pretty bad overall. UTEP not only lost, they got destroyed.

On top of that, I dont want to hear any more BS from CUSA fans that somehow they are on par with with BE. BE teams just dont lose to MAC teams normally. I am pretty confident this year's UCONN team would have beat this Toledo team.

yeah, it was a pretty embarrassing game for CUSA. Toledo is not as good as the team that UCONN thumped last year in Detroit.

And USM looked pretty weak in beating a team that wouldn't make the 1-AA playoffs.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves trash-talking just yet. After all, the BE has yet to play a down in a bowl game.

Trash talk might be fun but I think everyone would be happier if both conferences do well. We're in trouble if our only joy this bowl season is watching another conference fail.

Though I wasn't paying close attention (24 season 4 DVD's !!), I'm pretty sure that UTEP's starting QB got knocked out in the 2nd quarter. It was a tight game up until then.

That's rich. What is Louisville's record against the MAC in recent bowl games?
