That was the damndest thing!

Heinicke was off, recievers dropped balls.
It was like we (offense) were gassed after the 1st quarter. I watched that game 3 times. 'Nova didn't do anything that anyone else hasn't done.

It looked like the defense played about like always, but had no offense to help.

I have no clue what happened.; but I hope it never happens again.

Nova was a bad matchup for us. Georgia Southern probably is too, but Nova has a much better pass defense than GA Southern. And we still had to honor their passing game.

And we were just off on offense. DIdn't convert 3/4 and short. Lots of drops. Heinicke was a little off.

Ahhhh finally.. ODDUSmitty finally let me in. He's been a regular pain on our boards for awhile so I thought I'd reciprocate. Looking forward to making the trip to ODD-U this Saturday. I know you guys felt like you had a chance last year and maybe you did except for probably the only correct call made by the officials in Paulson Stadium since... well, forever. I think this will shake out to be another barn-burner, except it will be us burning your barn down leaving NO DOUBT that we are the best. You're right that many have to be bogus...there aren't that many people in Stateboro who can read, much less go online for one day much less every day with those kind of numbers.....

Villanova threw the ball 267 times this season. Ga Southern threw it less than 80.

Yes Nova run option style plays but against Ga Southern you can sell out to the run pre-snap because they do it 98% of the time.

Yes... and look how well that worked out for ODU last season.

Not to mention that McKinnon brings an extra running threat into the mix this season. Jaybo could definitely run the passing game better, but we still weren't exactly taking to the air.

Now, on the rare occasions that ODU manages to stop Swope and the pitch man, the QB keeper is much, MUCH more deadly.

How well did you stop ODU last year at home?

I don't know much about Georgia Southern, but I do ODU is much improved from last year. And they have a much improved running game since Lee took over. We'll see if it's enough to win. Last year you guys hounded us about how bad you were going to stomp us. We made you sweat the entire game and torched the defense. Some of your buddies came back praising how surprised they were that a team led by a true freshman could play so well.

yeah - any GSU fan who thinks they are going to stomp us is a little crazy...this one will be TIGHT.
