Like Linda Cohn said the other day on ESPN something about living in New York with the Big East in New York and what she and others knew is gone and to call it the Big East is just wrong and they need to change the name and let the Big East be remembered for what it was and not what it's become.

Nobody does anything for me. If I agree with someone it's because I think it for myself. As a little kid in the 80s and seeing what the conference hoops has become it is sad. Football not so much as that ship sailed in the early 2000s. The conference is a completely different and it is sad. Now don't get me wrong I've never been a fan of the Big East as I always thought it was overrated especially in the recent decade where it was always about quantity instead of quality, but to think back to all those great Big East squads from the 80s and 90s and now to think of what the Big East is going forward, yea Linda Cohn hits the nail on the head.

By the way, congrats to tulsa. Congrats to ucf, too, for that matter. It was an excellent game to watch. You represented our conference very well.

I will certainly miss one of you next season. I hope I won't miss you both
