McGee said a couple of guys on scholarship had expressed a desire to transfer, but didn't want to release their names out of fairness to them and their family in case their transfer destinations did not work out.

Transfering I'm not in the know just a guess off playing time.

He's in somewhat the same position as JP. Both were the most experienced coming back at their positions. Both ran the same offense in high school. Both benchedduring the season. Heck Bashr got more carries than Greg.
