Well they certainly are not meeting to congratulate Benson on a job well done with the bowls this weekend.

Take it that MTSU and FAU will have nothing to do with this teleconference.

Departing members can't vote. If and when such a vote happens.

Good luck Ga Southern. Any bid to Appy should be contingent on banning the AD uttering the word "CUSA" for at least 2 years.

Four Bowl teams, I would say he should be congratulated for accomplishing something the great Wright Waters couldn't get done a a piece of paper!04-rock

Let's give credit where credit's due...the programs that have stepped it up...neither WW or @kbcommish should reap the benefits of on the field performance.

Think his feelings on CUSA pretty much ended when East Carolina got the BE offer. Not as much of a vacation spot after. Which is good. Don't think we would have to use tape, but will keep it handy.

Lots of smoke surrounding Georgia Southern getting a potential #SunBelt invite and soon. Trying to get more details from sources.

https://twitter.com/SunBeltInsider
Inside Source tell me that Georgia Southern will receive an invite from the #SunBelt soon, and they are expected to accept

Pretty sure at that point you become one of those people in the "just once" category.

Georgia Southern better be content with 6 NC's. There is no chance they will ever compete for one in the FBS. Same goes for App. I hope Keep is just trying to excite people and doesn't actually believe that. If he does, The Stink might be in trouble. Having a delusional president isn't a good thing.

I took it as saying that we will be FBS very soon.

I think most everyone knows that it will not be possible with the way the current post season is structured.

I actually think a split in the FBS (BCS and Group of 5) will take place and have two seperate playoffs/titles.

What a sad fan you are....

"No chance....ever....etc...."

Same could have been said about a certain SoCon school beating a Big Ten school back in 2007....

In case you forgot, son.

Have a bit of optimism, eh chap?

Ok smart ass, here's some optimism for you:

GaSo has more of a chance of winning an FBS national championship than Liberty has of getting an FBS invite.
