This is weak to me though Mark. Fans of big time programs show up (to all games really, but at least big games). All I hear from UC fans are excuses, and that they will show up in conference play, and then brag about 11,000 showing up to play UCONN or whatever.
I used to think our program was better than that.
Think what you want. I went to 3 of the first 4 home games and one of the exhibitions. I also went to every home football game and road games at Toledo, Louisville, and in DC. Fact is UC football is playing for a Big East Championship. To me that is a bigger deal than even a Big, december, nonconference basketball game. As a result I will be making arrangements so I can watch both games, but no chance in hell I would miss the football game.
FWIW, I'm just gonna bring my ipad and stream ESPN3 for the football game at the basketball game.

I hope that works for you. I was having trouble at some of the football games with data streaming because there were too many people doing the same thing overloading the local cell tower.

I'm lucky in that I have access to the local secure wifi. Hopefully it will work okay today.

I'm wondering why the aren't playing the FB game on the monitor? Or are they allowed to?

I also wondered during the South Florida game why they weren't showing parts of the basketball game on the scoreboard, or at least running constant updates of the score instead of one update every 30 minutes. I was keeping my section updated with my ESPN College Basketball app on my I-Phone.

UK has played a few exhibition games there also. Hypothetically speaking, if something like that were to take place on the waterfront in Cincinnati, we could do the same. Cincinnati could even have have the Cavs come in to play an exhibition game.
UK has not played any games in the YUM Center other than the NCAA games last season. When they play in Louisville they play at Freedom Hall.
