He has only had two winning seasons since joining the Sun Belt. He probably did better than that prior to the SBC, or he couldn't have survived that long. What league were they in before joining the SBC?
They've had some pretty good football teams. I'm surprised their basketball hasn't been better. I would have never believed their record in the Belt was that bad.

Here is probably why:

Even in coaching, there is what practically-speaking amounts to tenure.
