We all know, those of us who followed UAB Football, how much physical punishment AB took this year. Out of all the hits any of you seen him take, which one stands out the most in your mind?

For me, it was that last one he took in the Tulsa game by that linebacker he didn't see on UAB's last gasp possession. How in the hell he got up from that shot is beyond me.

I can't pick one out. I just know that it had to be slow and painful getting out of bed several Sundays.

Do you like slowing down to look at car accidents, too?

The most painful for him may have been when McGee sacked him in the Memphis game.

We need to recruit a JUCO QB and/or a high school QB. We need some options in case JP leaves and AB gets hurt next year.

I think so too.

With 19 commits so far that leaves 6 spots with probably at most 1 QB signed.

I would be surprised if there were 2.

Hopefully a couple of JUCO d lineman and I think there will be a QB or two

I'm guessing AB would say the ones he doesn't remember getting hit.

I'm usually trying to get somewhere. I slow down because everyone in front of me did. at that point, I might as well look. It's a distraction from the ass end of the same damn 12 year old Camry with the gump window sticker and the brake light out I've been staring at for the last 20 minutes.

I'm guessing the next question is which direction is the best direction to come from & nail our QB.

That is not what I'm inferring. I'm simply asking which of the many hits that AB has taken this year do you recall the most? It's a credit to his toughness and endurance, if nothing else. The hit I mentioned during the Tulsa game was the one that stood out the most in my mind, that's all there is to it. In regards to car accidents, I try to keep moving if I can, I don't like onlookers delays anymore than the next person, but if I slow down, it's to see if there's anything I can do to help if need be.

I won't be surprised. We will sign two quarterbacks minimum. Maybe three if JP leaves. I can see JP getting his hours and transferring as a 5th year Senior.

We will sign a qb from Houston who will come in as a grey shirt. I will post a name when it is safe and a JUCO signal caller. McGee wants someone to come in to play right away.

I take that to mean then that there will be some additional scholarships open due to attrition.

I think there are going to be some players who transfer or quit.
