I dont think they will ever see NMSU. If the MWC takes the league
's Western half...a few of might as well start picking out our independent football schedules.

What do you want the NCAA to do? Make a rule that you cannot try to improve your financial and competitive position? At the end of the day, you have to let the markets operate.

What makes up the NCAA? The schools. The schools that want the freedom to make moves in their own best interest. It sucks for a school like Western Carolina with no hope of going anywhere. They would be in favor of keeping Appalachian and Georgia Southern from improving their situation, because thats the only way they can protect themselves. Miserable existance to have. Furman would have too, at one point, but even it wants the freedom to move to the CAA if it so desires. The only move that could be regulated is maybe, MAYBE, a move from FCS to FBS. If that were to happen, it's bye-bye Sun Belt.. The Big schools dont care. The Big Infinity wants the freedom to poach from other leagues. Texas doesn't even care. Its interests are covered by a grant of rights. UNC-Chapel Hill? Duke? Sure they would like to protect what they have in the ACC, but they also wants the freedom to jump ship if they see a better deal.

Congress could step in, I guess, but they're preoccupied with serious matters, right now. At least, they better be.
