RE: WKU to CUSA?
Apparently the announcement of WKU and NMST's move to C-USA has been put on hold.

I would not be surprised if USM and UAB get invited to the BE, especially if BSU and SDSU back out. If BSU and SDSU stay with the BE, it might be tough getting in.

But in spite of what some of the fans at the future BE schools say, some in administrative positions at these schools think highly of UAB and USM because we were charter members of CUSA and the fact they look at these things objectively as far as what is brought to the table.

The fact Birmingham is a decent market, UAB brings good basketball and potentially strong football, good academics, and a number of existing and developing rivalries with some of those now in the Big East. All those factors point to UAB being as realistic of a future BE school as anything.

Or, we could join the Little East Conference and kick some serious tail.

Pick a conference, any conference. LOL

NMSU is the perfect travel partner for UTEP. Adding NMSU and keeping UTEP would be beneficial for botgh teams and CUSA.

UAB and USM join the BE. the rest of the old CUSA teams, including USM and excluding UAB, disperse among the Big 12, Pac 12, Big Ten or the ACC. 03-nutkick

I hope this comes to fruition. Right now we have been deserted.
