Not a great add if you ask me... would have preferred WKU or even Ohio.

East: UAB, MTSU, FIU, FAU, Marshall, ODU, Charlotte
West: UTEP, Tulsa, Rice, UTSA, North Texas, La Tech, Southern Miss

If this alignment holds up (and of course it's a huge if), I would hate losing the yearly Southern Miss game. Also, the West is much stronger than the East.

Unless Marshall leaves, USM will not be in the east it appears.

USM could still be our annual cross division rival.

Can a condition be they change their name. Too confusingwith FIU

This realignment isn't over by a long shot. BE isn't done. ACC might not be done if the SEC, B1G, or Big XII sticks their nose in and shakes things up. MWC may still have some moves to make. This thing is far from settled.

No guarantee we keep UTEP and Tulsa. Adding WKU would slide UAB to the west as well in that case.

No, and as far as I know, there are no plans to start them. C-USA isn't set up for them.

From the looks of it, CUSA seems to be on the brink of being gutted completely .

As well as the Big East, ACC, & Sun Belt.

Good googley. If USM slides to the Western division and we still can't contend for championships/bowls with that division...

Maybe by reducing the competition to weekly pillow fights, we'll finally get our 10-win team.

With our luck we'll get lit up like a Christmas tree by ODU & Heinicke

I always thought that Tulsa would be good fit for the Big XII, maybe even UTEP. I would imagine that both schools are weighing their options. Seems every school in C-USA has that option except UAB. Hmph! Figures...

I think someone might have said something about UAB being in the Sun Belt recently...

Right now I'm a little relieved that we will have a conference after all this is over, even if it is the Sun Belt 2.0.

Tulsa's stadium is small. The Big XII will not call them.The MWC might.
