Are you talking about the Western C-USA schools or the MWC schools.

In either case, they haven't stayed. They've done the exact same thing.

The school that gained the most by conference re-association is in my opinion USF.
They had no football program a few yrs prior to all this. The basketball program while competitive, was playing teams that did not have the cashe of the Big East.
The Bulls rose to #2 in football and built out some new facilities for other sports.
What does any of this mean. Not much. They still don't help other teams in their league draw.

I think UCF is second. Basketball has/will really benefit. Football not so much.
