A former Ole Miss player who is still connected with the program told me Freeze is telling the kids they'll be heading to B'Ham.

Holy crap are we still on this?!?! Good I hope they have fun in the crap hole of bham. Black bears could care less about coming here, just like I don't want them here. Sure, they will take money from wherever it comes, even memphis. But all they do is talk down about memphis. Nobody in the sec cares about them except themselves. They have yet to figure at out.

Mississippi is not going to the LB, they will be playing in Birmingham

Had that happened the 5-7 teams would've been slotted in order of APR. That taint us.

No you are the idiot.

I am saying that if Ole Miss really made a stink about it, they could probably come to Memphis.

But it's not that big of a deal to them. They have no problem taking our city's corporate money. But when it comes time to do something for us, they don't care.

Bowl contracts are not set in stone, and if Ole Miss really wanted to come to Memphis they could.

By the way, did I say you are an idiot.

You haven't a clue. Go climb back in your hole.

Ole Miss fans won't fill the hotel rooms like another team would. Drive up, watch the game, drive home. Another team would be an extended stay fan base. Since Freeze wants to recruit Memphis and has ties here, I am sure he would rather play here.

I am hurt that you called me an idiot. Is that the best you can do?

Think there is a very good chance the ASU vs MTSU winner will be in the LB.

Posters on The Den are saying ASU is a lock for the Liberty Bowl, win or lose today. Will except invite immediately after ball game.

Everyone knew one of the two was going, but guessed it would be the winner.

Them going to Birmingham and not Memphis will crush the Liberty Bowl. For people who think it doesn't matter. Every SEC website in the world is now saying how the Birmingham Bowl is now bigger than the Liberty Bowl.

Why don't any of those people tell the SEC hacks, that Memphis is where they really want to go. It seems they are so pacified to say "it's in the contract." When everyone knows that Mike Slive will always do what's best for the SEC.

If they don't care whether they go to Memphis or not, then why are compainies in Memphis supporting them?

It's the SEC's way for paying back UAB for Alabama Tuscaloosa's denial of the stadium deal.
