If the admin stands behind this guy that constantly blames the players for his errors and shortcomings, then the fanbase in whole should rise up and demand action be taken against all of the administration.

Gen. Hammond spent the offseason poor-mouthing, so he doesn't have the political capital to spend any money.

Conf USA needs So Miss to have a good program and winning games please can him and entire staff. With all new blood coming in next year it is very important to have So Miss, ECU, marshall, Tulsa etc step up

It's looking more and more like he is staying. I, for one, will be infuriated if that is true.

Contrary to what some may think, the money has been there for weeks - not a problem. If this does not happen, the problem is we have an interim President and a temp AD. The President does not want to be responsible for firing and hiring a new HC. He wants the new President and permanent AD to have that decision.

It's looking like he is staying. Korey Williams tweeted that he is.

The money is "there" at USM and has been, for a long time. Now, if USM continues to piss off people (especially people who are like me but with deeper pockets) that could change. Rich men don't like being ignored.

Ellis Johnson will never win at USM.

The money is there. Just some lose ends to tie up. This is a very tricky situation with a interim AD and president and a really bad contract (from a USM admin standpoint).

The intention is to fire Ellis, from the top down at USM. It's only a matter of how quickly it will happen, which is rather unfortunate.
